Advertisers Information

Want to advertise on TraderWizard.com. Your advertisements can be targeted to specific category pages or run throughout the site. Advertisers receive a weekly report showing how many times their banner was seen on each date and how many times it was clicked on.

Banner advertising is sold per 1000 impressions. The industry calls 1000 impressions a CPM. The CPM rate varies by the size of the banner. We offer 3 sizes of banners on our site which you can see by surfing around TraderWizard.com. They are listed below:

Each banner buy requires a 3 month minimum commitment. You will be billed for 3 month before your banners will be placed. Your purchased impressions will be distributed over each month.

Banner Ad Specifications

Select the type of technology you would like to use and use the appropriate specs.

Specifications
HTML Ad	HTML code cannot exceed 3kbytes. 2 images maximum, total filesize of images cannot exceed 20 kbytes. Client-side imagemaps are acceptable and must be provided by the client.
Image Ad	GIF or JPG format accepted. Filesize cannot exceed 20 kbytes. Alt Text cannot exceed 30 characters.
Macromedia Flash	30 kbytes download, and up to four additional download streams upon user click are permitted. Each additonal stream may not exceed 50K. Please submit the original flash file, with supporting fonts/images, so that TraderWizard.com can insert tracking information. Please submit an image (JPG or GIF) to be served in case the user does not have flash installed. The kbyte size for the static image should be the same as the kbyte restriction for a normal image ad of the same size and shape. Non-user-initiated audio is not permitted in flash ads.
HTML/DHTML/Javascript Ad	All Javascript creative is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Javascript code cannot exceed 3 kbytes. If Javascript code exists with HTML, then the total filesize cannot exceed 3 kbytes. Javascript files may be referenced remotely in which case the remote javascript file can be a maximum of 6 kbytes.

General Specifications/Notes

Specs that apply across all ad technologies.

Looping/Animation	TraderWizard.com allows animation in this ad unit. TraderWizard.com has no looping restriction.
Audio in Ads	Audio stream must be initiated by user click. No mouseover starts. Audio stream may not exceed 30 seconds.

TraderWizard.com Advertisement Policy

Advertisements cannot mislead the user. For example, they may not mimic or resemble Windows/Mac/Unix dialogue boxes, error messages, or the like.
Advertisements cannot resemble TraderWizard.com content.
Advertisements cannot contain graphics that simulate interactivity (i.e. drop down menus, search boxes etc.) without that functionality actually existing.
Advertisements cannot mimic news headlines in design, tone, 3rd person sentence structure, or topic.
All advertisements will be reviewed by TraderWizard.com and are subject to approval by TraderWizard.com before placement on the site.
Cookies may not be set on the TraderWizard.com network except by parties with a third party ad serving agreement.
TraderWizard.com reserves the right to preserve the user experience of its sites, and reserves the right to remove any advertisement which is deemed annoying and/or harmful to our users at any time.

Policy Guidelines for Ad Units that Collect Personal Information

TraderWizard.com allows advertisements to collect personal identifying information; however you may be asked to make changes to the ad units or include additional disclosure in order to be acceptable for advertising on TraderWizard.com.

To collect personal information within advertisements, those ad units will need to:

Clearly identify your organization.
Provide a direct link to your privacy policy, adjacent to the submit button.
Clearly identify the purpose for collecting the information.

Additional disclosure may be required, depending on the type of advertisement. Please see your advertising representative for more information on required notices. TraderWizard.com will also label all such ad units with "ADVERTISEMENT".
